After hemming and hawing about picking one up for the last 13 years, in December I got around to buying a Sig P225. My favorite Sig (with the P220 not far behind). Of course the day I found one, a 2nd popped up for sale. Naturally, I had to get both.
Finally got a chance to take some decent pics of the pair.
Top pistol is a 2001 pistol recently returned from Sig with a Nitron coating on the slide, a short trigger, and a AEP package. It is VERY nice. The previoius owner had this work done in November, just before I picked it up.
Bottom pistol is a 1998 pistol as it left Sig. Another great shooter.
Still debating if I like the short trigger or not. It's great for DA, but perhaps a wee short on the SA pull. The AEP is very smooth compared to the stock pistol.
