My wife bought me a Browning Buckmark back in November and I took it to the range today for the first time and put 100 rounds through it. For brand new and straight out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it is to shoot. I wasn't in a target shooting mood so I just quickly shot offhand at 12yds and 25yds...all at the same target. By the time I was done I really wanted to sit down and see just how accurate it could be, but it was cold and I was shivering...something for tomorrow I guess. I also found a molded softcase in the shop today...have never seen one of these, but it looked like a good home for an anniversary gift and my new favorite .22 shooter.

P.S. Thank you little wifey!!!

That's some good shooting there!

I've got a coworker who loves his new Buckmark as well. He got a rabbit at 40yd with it recently.

Thanks! Yep, I think the Buckmark just surpassed the Ruger and the Beretta as my favorite .22 plinker. It's the only thing I have with fiber optic sights too...they were nice in the dimly lit indoor range.

Oh, try putting some clays on the berm at 100 yards. You will be shocked at what it can do! Good little gun, and TONS of fun.

Dan

I'll have to try some clays when I get a chance to take it outdoors...too cold for me right now. The indoor range isn't exactly warm, but at least there's no wind and rain...it only goes out to 25 yds too.
