Howdy all.
I am looking at getting a .22 plinker to fill the void in my modest "collection" of pistols. I don't currently own any .22's and the Tupperware offerings don't particularly intrigue me. I started looking for a DA Smitty or Ruger, but they aren't really tugging at the heartstrings, either. I was at a semi-local GS the other day and they had some of the centerfire offerings from Uberti in the case. Really nice guns. Like, really nice. It got me to thinking I might like a SAA clone in my safe. I looked on line and came up with the Stallion.
I'd want the 4.75"bbl with the brass frame. 10 shot cylinder. .22lr or an additional cylinder in .22wmr. I realize that the .22wmr won't get shot much, but I'd like to have it. I do not want the adjustable target sight model. The catalog number is 349877.
Does anyone have any first hand experience with the .22's that Uberti offers? I did a quick search but the threads went in multiple directions. So, I'm looking for a better idea on this pistol. Any and all help will be appreciated.
