I figured the loading window needed to be opened for the wider meplat, as well as having the chambers reamed or chamfered. I had to do this on my Pietta Remington NMA and ROA so as to use custom boolits. I knew of the typical issues.

My apologies, I thought we were talking typical. I was referring to a clean running ball/non-custom conical, every day, normal shooter.
