I dunno. I have a Pietta Remington NMA only because of the super deal at Christmas. Despite being a newer model I had quite a few little issues along with the way undersized chambers and loading window that needed modified to work with my bullets. It seems the Uberti is the superior Remington model whereas maybe the Pietta has a better Colt in some regards.
Mine shoots a couple of inches left at 15 yds and I can’t adjust the POA without pulling the sight and adding a dovetail. The hammer nose needed work to fit the safety notches, the hand and bolt were sharp, the ugly red stain needed to be removed and the grip panels worked over to fit better. And of course I had to find someone who would ream the chambers. And hopefully the lever latch won’t fall out of the barrel as I’ve read a few have.
But now I rather like it. But I intend on getting an Uberti...
