Unable To Access Gun Blogs At Blogspot.com

I have been trying to access my own blog, and several other gun realted blogs over at blogspot.com, and have been unable to do so. Is anyone else able to get a connection to any gun blog at blogspot.com, or are you having the same problems as me? I am wondering if they cut off the gun bloggers. (I cannot rememebr any other site names to try except for gun bloggers.)

Hoping this is an appropriate subject, and hoping they have not somehow and for some reason cut off the gun blogs.

It's not just gun blogs. Google apparently implemented some new software to detect spam blogs and it apparently has a few bugs. Thousands of blogs have been affected, of all different types.

Thanks for the info. As it turns out, I can access some other blogs, but still none of the gun blogs I usually access (they are also the more conservative blogs I visit). Funny how I was able to view a burlesque blog someone just told me about, and blogs linked to it, but cannot view gun blogs, or conservative political blogs. I wonder just what google labelled as spam.

PS thanks for the info on your blog, which I was able to access. I guess my thoughts about them screwing over gun blogger or conservative blogs is off the mark. Still though, with Google's track record, suspicions were warranted , but have been dispelled. Thanks again.

Glenn, I can't access your blog right now either, but I can access all the other gun-type blogs that I visit, so I would just mark it as a technical difficulty and not a concerted effort at censorship.

Look at "What's Happened to Day by Day" thread. Same subject!

They've already mentioned that Firefox works fine and IE doesn't.
And they say the problem is related to SiteMeter, not just blogspot.

I'm glad to know I'm not alone.
I was beginning to think my system was going down and I needed very expensive support services.

One presumes that "George" will fixit forthwith.

All my regular reads work fine. Firefox 3, mac os 10.4. Java/Javascript off. even when it is on, I have the sitemeter script explicitly blocked.

There was also a problem with site meter, recently. Do you run a site meter web bot with your blog? Apparently, users of IE7 can't access any page with site meter running, for some reason.

Oh, and that was not my blog. Just one I read every day. I tried my hand at blogging once, but I'm not cut up for it.
