Uncle Georges in Glen Rose TX

We had a great time today but we were told we can not come in early anymore. About a 1/2 mile behind them a rancher sold his land and a subdivision has been built. The owners wife said they had been getting lots of complaints. The old times were 8am fall and winter and 7 am spring and summer now it is 9 am all the time. Summer time in TX 9 am can be a little warm vs 7 am.:banghead:

That and the cost has gone up It was 21.00 for me and my daughter to shoot for an hour.

It is a rustic outdoor range that I have been going too for 10 years.

Is there any cheaper options in FW area??

out around Chalk Mountain would be rural enough to shoot without being disturbed. Is there nothing around Cleburne? If you are a vet there may be a range at Carswell AFB.

Have you tried Quail Ridge up by Roanoke?

There are 2 indoor ranges in the area but they cost about the same as Uncle Georges. I always loved UG because it was classic outdoors range and never crowded during the week.

Quail Ridge is outdoors. I think I paid $16 for all day the last time I went there.

OK it is over a hour away but we might give it a try.

I live in North Dallas and it takes me 45-50 minutes on a good day. I was hoping to get over there today. It's 100 here now. I'm staying home.
