Looking at a used Ruger Red Label 12 ga. at a local shop. Would be used primarily as an upland hunting gun for Grouse, Pheasant, Rabbit & some light sporting clay shooting. The gun's serial # indicates it was built in 1985. It's in excellent condition. A few barely noticeable 'character' marks on the stock & forearm. The stock fits me absolutely perfectly (which is why I was drawn to it). It's a 26" w/ fixed chokes (Mod top / IC bottom) - which doesn't really matter to me. Anway, they're asking $800. Which is what others I've seen are going for. Tell me why I should or shouldn't get it. ( I can't get it out of my head!)
