Though new at this...I went to 'Grease Wads' from the get-go, and I've been very happy with them.
They really keep things clean, and keep a happy Bore.
I am now using them in my loading of .38 'Special' BP Metallic Cartridge also, and, I plan on using them for 'Smokeless' Rounds too.
I suspect, when done right, they also permit higher final Bullet velocity by reducing blow-by in early stages of the Bullet's acceleration.
