Just picked up some of these bullets today. Does anyone have any experience with these can I load them using the info in my Lyman book for there 200gr lswc? Plan on using bullseye powder. Thanks

Yes.
As long as the cast bullet design and weight is the same, bullets is bullets.
And data is data.

You run into different data when the number of grease grooves are different, or nose shape is enough different you can't use the same OAL in the book.

Probably.

I'm guessing these are for .45 ACP?

If so, just seat them with about a thumbnails width of front driving band sticking out of the case.

Seated too far out, that driving band will contact the rifling leade in the barrel before fully chambered.

Take your barrel out and use it to check they drop in & out freely.

Thanks sir. I was going to cast some but just to lazy and got a deal on 500 boolits. Thanks for your input sir

Try them with 4.2grs of Bullseye . Should be around 780fps out of a 5" Govt Model . Accurate out to 50yds . Do the plunk test as stated , that'll let you know the correct OAL , crimp for your barrel with that bullet .

Loaded with 5.5 grains of bullseye per lyman 47th edition. Plunk test worked great. Listed 6.1 as max 4.8 as start I believe. Hope these aren't to hot.

They'll definitely be warm......
4.2gr of Bullseye and 200gr LSWC's have won a lot of matches, and cycle both my 1911's with factory springs.

Apparently bullseye has changed alot over the years from what I have read. I will shoot these then probably dial . It back down and try the 4.2gr. Cant believe the variances in lyman manuals.

These are Valiant 200 LSWC bullets. Reese casts an excellent bullet and this one is exceptionally accurate.
