the local gun shop has a nice stainless king cobra .357 with a 6" barrel. it is in very good condition with the cylinder line showing some use, but no dings or scratches on the rest of the gun. everything is tight, and it looks used, but well taken care of.
the original owner had the sights removed to put on a scope. it appears the smith used the original sight screw holes to mount the scope rail. the sights were never returned to him by the fellow doing the work some years ago. since then the scope and rail have been used on another gun.
can original sights be had (and at what cost)? is their a better sight alternative?
what would be an aproximate value for the gun with and without the sights??
