Hi,

I just took these are off an old Wingmaster that was put away and never shot. They are in about perfect/new condition. What would be considered a fair price?

Thanks,
Jason

Check eBay for comparison. They have a lot of stocks in excellent condition. I paid $215 for a brand new in the box 1100 set not too long ago, but it had cut not impressed checkering. That is my favorite style of Wingmaster stock set, and it is what is on my 1976 version. I wish I knew what to tell you, but it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. If you can find someone who is looking for exactly that, I would think you might get $100 to $125. Good luck.

I agree with Virginian.

Also when checking ebay, check out the completed auctions and see what they are actually selling. Just because someone is asking a price, doesn't mean they are selling at that price.

Are you guy's serious? these old press checkered stocks are worth that much? makes me wanna strip my 870's of their walnut. :D Makes me wonder what my hand checkered English grip 870 WM special stocks are worth.

In my area, the buttstock might fetch forty or fifty bucks and the set might go for seventy five.

If you doubt they are worth that much, check out Numrich Gun Parts and see for yourself. Not only do they command a hefty price, they are in short supply.

Thanks for all the advice. I'll put them up for $90 and see what happens.

Please note that Wingmasters came in several different grades. The early trap gun had three different grades A, B, and C, each with different wood. The quality of wood and grade went up with the grade of the gun.
