This Volquartsen rifle was previously seen with a laminated stock here.

DM my brother found a HECK of a deal on a brand new Aluminum Chassis system made by Volquartsen and acquired it.

These groups were shot with the receiver tightened down to 35in pounds, Mr. Volquartsen recommends that this be 40 to 45in pounds. We did not understand that until returning from the range and seeing it in an email from Mr. Steve Volquartsen. We will get it tightened down to the right specs and come back out with a good target ammo.

These groups were shot at 50 yards with CCI-SV ammo.

Stiff competition from across the globe

Neat rig! Ive been considering sinking some cash into a chassis for something to see how I like it. I think a .22 might be just the way to try it.

I saved up for an Oryx chassis for my Savage MKII, I have shot it enough now to know I shoot better groups by getting better consistency. This was only my first time shooting this rifle but have dreamed of doing so for a long time LOL. With the way it shot with CCI-SV color me impressed. I know many brag about CCI-SV but I have not been one of those people to have as much luck with it over the pass 2 years. For some reason the older stuff does shoot better.
