Just curious to see what people think of Vortex Optics.
I'm considering picking up their StrikeFire.

I haven't heard of anyone buying a StrikeFire yet..

In my search for binoculars, I did find that the "birding community" is rather fond of several Vortex products; namely their Viper and Razor binoculars. I also read that their warranty is fantastic.

Vortex Strikefire

I ordered and paid for a Strikefire scope from SWFA April 2nd. Their web page showed the item as in stock. After charging my CC, I got an email the next day from their customer service saying the scope was on backorder with expected shipment sometime around the end of May. I called their 800 number and requested a refund.
I have not been able to find one in stock anywhere else.
If you happen to find them in stock someplace, please post the info.

They wont be out until June. Patience. I've got one on order too and if it is like what the rest of the Vortex optics are like - these are going to be the deal of the century.
