Happy Black Friday all,
I have been thinking to grab a black Friday deal on one of these red dot sights for my AR. Both priced around $150 right now so it doesn't brake the bank. General range use up to 100yds for this build. 18 inch 1/9 twist barrel on a Palmetto upper and an Anderson lower I built some time ago. Anyone have tried both and can give me a suggestion I would much appreciate.

Hard to go wrong either way. Purchased the Sparc AR several months ago for my BiL and really liked it when I was zeroing his new AR. Today I purhased another AR and went ahead and bought a Sparc AR / VMX-3T magnifier combo deal. I really like the Sparc glass, dot resolution, buttons facing the shooter, and the single AAA easy access battery. The PSA deal is excellent. I prefer the Sparc AR for its 2 moa dot as compared to the Strikefire II 4 moa dot. The Strikefire has a better battery and longer battery life. Only my personal preference, if I'm firing beyond 50 meters I refer a smaller moa dot.

I own both, the StrikeFire is currently on my AR only because it looks way too bulky on any other rifle. The SPARC has shifted from rifles to pistols and is perfectly sized.

Amidst the Black Friday madness today I ran across an Amazon deal for the optic I originally compared to both, the Bushnell TRS-25. It lost out that time, not by much, but at $43 shipped I placed an order. You might need a riser or they may have the AR version on special as well. My version is a 3MOA dot.
