Does anyone know if there is a delay shipping Mika Holsters? I ordered mine Aug.8,2012 and am still waiting to receive it. Are they still making then? I hope that someone has current information. Thanks:confused:

As I remember he has a one man shop. It'll arrive soon and you'll like it.

These last three responses were reassuring!

Thanks folk, I was geared into the "no wait syndrome" expecting everything to run on the "internet email speed" Will remain patient and enjoy a quality holster. Thanks again. Ted:)

Ted, 7 weeks is a little longer than usual for a holster from Mika but like said above, his business is so good sometimes the times stretch out a little. If you're worried send him an email, he will answer you and give you a time for delivery.

Robert Mika.....

....does EXCELLENT work and is an extremely honest businessman!

Any amount of time is worth WAITING for a Mika Holster! You will most likely have it for life, what's a few weeks?

The wait is worth it.

I have ordered holsters from him at different times. Each time, I waited for over a month to receive my holster. But, both the pocket holster for my Glock and the right hip outside the belt holster for my Ruger are the best holsters I have purchased.

They are comfortable, good looking and well made. As I have said, the wait is worth it.

If you can't meet a certain deadline, or are uncertain you can because of your workload, you shouldn't commit to one.

That's not good business. It doesn't matter how good your product may be.

I have a few of his holsters and the longest I've waited is three weeks. The last holster I got from Mika showed up in just a few days. I had ordered a black round cut holster and he offered the same holster but in brown and shipped the same day. I jumped on it.

What are you putting in it?
While waiting for a Mika I bought a DeSantis for pocket carry.
Or you can get an inexpensive Uncle Mikes to tide you over.

Hang in there it's a good holster and Robert is a straight up guy.

I would be patient. He is tops as a business man. When I wanted a holster for a S&W 625-10 (an N-Frame super snubby) he hooked me right up. He didn't have a blank gun to work from so he did his best. He sent it to me to try out and didn't even want paid for it. It worked well for me and I sent him his money plus a little extra. It is hard to find service like that these days.

reply!

Thanks for all your encouragement! My holster arrived yesterday! It is a beauty! It fits like a glove. The S&W 642 slides in,like he had it there to mold it to. When in my pocket you can not tell that there is anything in my pocket, let alone a gun. Absolutely no printing. I don't think that you can beat this holster,at ANY price. As advised in previous threads..."It was worth the wait." Ted:):D

As the holster molds to you and your gun it will become even less visible. I have two of his holsters and don't consider anything else for pocket carrying my Colt Agent revolver or my Smith Model 60 no dash.
