I absolutely love the ergonomics of the SIG Mosquito. I have two of them. I can say now that the ergonomics are the only thing I love about the mosquito. One of my mosquitos lost the slide catch spring and is waiting for a part from SIG. The other stopped firing today after about 100 rounds. I am not sure what is wrong other than the trigger will not cycle completely and the hammer won't drop. So, both of them will be headed to the gunsmith soon.
After a series of problems I think I am finally willing to give up on them and get something else. I know people will recommend Rugers or Brownings but I am not interested in those pistols. I want something that has the ergonomics similar to my current guns. My first question is, how good are the 22 conversion kits for the SIG 226? After all, this is why I bought the mosquitos in the first place.
My second question is, are there any other semi 22s out there I should consider? The GSG 1911? or the M&P 22 that was at the shot show this year?
