Yeah, I was referring to 9mm WWB value packs. I don't remember exactly what .40S&W value packs are going for since I don't shoot .40, but I know for sure it's broken the $20 mark.

Can't say for California. This weekend in Tennessee prices for 100 rounds of Winchester white box were:

.40 S&W $22
9 mm $26
.38 Special $26
.45 ACP $29

I can't figure out why the .40 was so cheap.

In middle TN at the Springfield Walmart 9mm is $15 and change for the WWB.

In the Central Valley, just got back from Walmart and the prices are about the same as they were a few months ago.

50rd/100rd

9mm- $9/$16
.40- $11/$18
.45- $13/$24

MY Walmarts around here are selling Blazer Brass a couple bucks cheaper than WWB. I think I paid $10/50 for .40 and maybe $12/50 for .45

Back last year around Xmas I bought 1,000 rounds of UMC .45 ACP at $22 bucks a 100 pack of 230 grain JHP. Wife almost went ballistic until the clerk told her I was getting over 1/3 off the normal Wallyworld price.

A Wal*Mart Thread!

And nobody's yelling or griping!

Heck, I might actually have to leave this open.

For now.

And then, later, when it degenerates into something more recognizable . . .

I'll move it to the new Wal*Mart sub-forum.

ya well if .45 takes the right nut then .44 mag takes the left one. 29 bucks for 50 rounds.

Yeah, tell me about it, around here I believe it's $31.00!

Thats why I only have a couple hundred rds of .44 mag, and the rest is cheapo .44 special...Luckily the empty cans and paper targets don't know the difference.:)

My W*lm*rt doesn't sell .44special, so I have to buy in bulk online.

Last time I got a value pack of .40S&W were $21+ each brick.

When the Cabelas opened up with their grand opening sale, WalMart slashed their prices at $16+. I grabbed a whole bunch that day.

That .40 cal Ranger is probable just the JHP- NOT the SXT or "T" black talon stuff. It's been that price for over a year now. Good deal now nonetheless. :)
