When did this happen? My local Wallyworld now sells it. $14 for 9mm 124gr +p (20 rds per box)....

This is 5 bucks cheaper than my local mom and pop's shops and 4 bucks a box cheaper than Cabela's and Bass Pro.

Not bad!... some good SD ammo from wally world with their prices... My usual carry ammo for 9mm in MOST of my 9mm's is either Corbon DPX or Hornady's... but my Springfield EMP 1911 will only cycle this hollow point ammo. Glad to have a cheaper source locally.

The PDX1 line excluding the .410 are variations on the Winchester Ranger series which also carries several bullet types per caliber.
I use the Ranger T-Series and its one of the best carry ammo and unless you know where to buy most of the public cant even purchase them.
Now i will say those rounds that were linked were a big QC issue, But whos to say that didnt happen after it left the factory. And im sure Winchester will stand behind them also.
Anyhow ive been seeing these in WalMart for a good 5-6 months now, Just this past month they added the PDX1 12 guage 2 3/4 Home Defense round that has a 1oz rifled slug and 2 rounds of 00buck.
I put some threw my 500 SPX and like it alot.
$12.95 for a box of 10 is a good deal imo also.

(Edit) Since i bought a new camera id would be a shame to not take unneeded pics.

This is some pics showing left too right the Ranger 230gr T-Series .45acp,Ranger T-Series .40 165gr vs the PDX1 .40 165gr.
Main differences is hollow point depth physically, But the T series will expand larger and have the more pronounced Talons.
But for 95% of the round they are the same.

I have not seen any premium SD ammunition in a Wal Mart near me but I will be looking. It would be really nice. I usually go there for fmj for the range but order jhp off the internet.

Dasfriek- Thanks for the heads up!... i'll keep an eye out for them in 12guage. I haven't tested those yet but i have been impressed with their .410 and 9 and 40 ive tested.

my local wally world just started carrying it in .38 +P and that is it. I've used the PDX1 in my XDm for quite a while and have had no issues so far.

Wow. Both WallyWorld and Academy stock it here, but not at $14 a box.
It's more like $20.

Really? I thought Walmart kept their prices the same on stuff like ammo across the states.

Im gonna see if i can find the receipt and double check.

PDX-1 gets close to $1/bullet after tax here in TN.
I'm not sure which caliber you are referencing, but for personal protection cartridges in .40, $10 a round is pretty good. Most gun stores here sell the Hornady, Speer, Corbon stuff between $25-$30 for a box of 20.

I'll be going to a Wal Mart to check this out, as OK is generally in Wal-marts cheapest pricing brackets. This sounds like a deal as good as the Federal target they sell for around $13 a box.

Not even. When I lived in Johnson City TN, we could drive about 20 minutes to Elizabethton TN and get lower prices on almost everything Walmart sold at both stores. Who knows why?

I think it comes down to cost of living in certain areas. But also I picked up the same ammo at a meijers near me. Need to check wally world to see if its cheaper.

The WM's around me carry the 9mm., .38 Special, and the .45 PDX-1 ammo. Usually they only have two or three boxes of it when I make my weekly trip out there. The last 9mm. PDX-1 I bought there was $19.47 a box.
