Walmart Heads Up (Cheap Ammo)

I literally HAD to go to the local WalMart yesterday as my vacuum cleaner died and only one other store in town carried them, and they didn't have anything under $150 and two choices. Amazon was backed up for deliveries, and with a large dog in my house, I have to vacuum frequently. We used to have a Shopko, but Walmart drove even them out of business.

So I went in. It was crazy, with people I only thought I'd see at the county fair once a year. Grabbed a vacuum for $76, and thought I might as well stop by the ammo counter.

The entire half that used to be full of the pistol ammo was filled with shotgun ammo and .22 ammo. All pistol ammo was gone. There was actually a sporting goods clerk there asking if he could help me. I said, yeah, when was the last time a mass shooter used .38 Special or .45 Colt to shoot up a place? He laughed and said he knew corporate had gone crazy. He said their ammo sales had dropped to almost nothing and dozens of people had complained.

And the other question is since what is left is being donated to police, what are they gonna do with .45 Colt, .44 magnum, .32 auto and so on other calibers that are as far away from police calibers as you can get.

sporting goods clerk ... said their ammo sales had dropped to almost nothing
Simple law of supply and demand ... And if your competitor sells the same stuff for less, your customers will shop there instead.

Walmart should know this because that's what they did to small mom and pop stores for decades ... And when online vendors did the same to Walmart, they make a political policy statement.
