Yeah, I bet Dick's has plenty of ammo in stock. Won't catch me buying any from them, but to each his own.

My local Wal-Mart finally got some stock in today for the first time in weeks. I was 1minute ahead of another shopper when I got there. I bought 2boxes of .45 and 2 boxes of 9mm - he bought everything else... I mean everything. He bought every box they had of .45, 12Ga00, 9mm, .40, and .380. He ended up with about 60 boxes of ammo.
They didn't have any .223 sadly, but said they did before I arrived. I hope it's a good sign.

I went to a local store, Meijer's, and wasn't surprised to see that all the .223 was gone, but I was kind of shocked that pretty much everything else they carried was in stock, including .306, .270, 7.62, and even .44 mag, and lots of it. Last time I looked there, they had a lot of .223, but were cleaned out of a lot of other stuff.

I'll be in Bristol on the 21st, I'll have to check that out. I'm having to miss my local gun show/entertainment that weekend, it would be really cool if I could grab primers at Walmart prices.

I got an email notice that my .45 acp dies shipped.
I'll pick them up when I get back. The anticipation is killing me!
I'm trying to order the powder measures I want, but the website isn't cooperating right now. Won't take me to the payment section. Guess I'll just try again later.

I was in a Walmart yesterday and they had 380 and 40 S&W ammo on the mostly bare shelves. Must have just got them.
I think it's pretty clear that they are trying to strong arm Wal-Mart into supporting a ban, or at least stop selling rifles. It is the Chicago politics way, after all.
Yeah, that's probably why I have a sinking feeling in my stomach about it.
I can just see the headlines now "Nations largest firearms retailer, Wal-Mart, has declared ..."

I don't think they're going to see eye to eye on the whole union thing. I'm not sure even POTUS has the pull to make WalMart come around.
Say what ya like about Wally's, during the Great Ammo Drought of '09 their prices were pretty steady.
Not sure if WalMart even sells guns in Kalifornistan. I know they don't in my area.
