But nothing (so far) on the official manager gun walk policy. When I was walked to the door with a CVA Bobcat (muzzleloader) I did not know whether to be irked or amused.

There is no listing of store policies, much less why.
There are discussions on various boards, which interesting enuf include "manager gun walk to the door" at places like Cabelas and Gander, as well as Walmart. Some stores beside Walmart that had such a policy have stopped.

Walmart announced plans to bring rifles, shotguns and ammo back to hundreds of stores where sales stopped five years ago--and New York City anti-gun officials and groups are calling in Bloomberg and MAIG to block Walmart from opening a store in NYC even tho' Walmart had no plans to sell rifles, shotguns or ammo in NYC. The stores that would resume long gun and ammo sales are all in other parts of the country, but to NYC anti-gunners its anathema.
