I had a few questions about the Walther P99. I've done plenty of searches but haven' found anything on some specifics id like to know about. I really think this gun looks like a pretty decent piece... and from what i've been hearing it seems to be well-worth the money. I'd be thinking about the 9mm P99AS. w/ the anti-stress variant trigger. I decided i want this or an H&K P2000 w/ LEM trigger. For some reason im leaning toward the Walther. Just seems like a really good pistol. So can anybody tell me:
1. Can I get the AS trigger variant w/ ambidextrous slide release levers? I don't need this feature since im just a normal right handed shooter, but it would just be cool to have. It says it is standard on the DAO trigger variant, so i was thinking maybe it would be optional on the AS variant.... *edit* Also, do both, the AS and LEM trigger, offer double-strike capability incase of a bad primer strike?
2. Is the AS trigger comparable to the LEM trigger offered by H&K?? from what i've read they seem to have similar trigger pulls, and people seem to like them both alot.
any additional info or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
