i recently got my late Grandfather's walther pp in .380 acp but i have some confusion as to i.d.ing the manufacture. thanks in advance.
slide left side: walther logo, Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do. Modell PP Cal. 7.65 mm ( the 7.65 is etched out), what appears to be an eagle stamp, next to the eagle is . 380 A.C.P. stamped onto the slide.
frame left side: no markings what so ever.
slide right side: interarms/va ( no large logo just the words lightly engraved/stamped)
frame right side: sn 3243xx, an eagle below the sn and to the right of the 3 is a *ed out symbole.
barrel/ejection port: 62, antler, eagle
other: the hammer, trigger, trig guard, extractor, and mag release are a reddish metal. the grips are a smooth black/dark brown peral styleish grips. the mag is stamped made in france one side the other, 37599 etched in, manurhin, pp 765, it has 7 holes but only takes 7 380s and i belive the mag is a 32 mag.
i belive this is some sort of referb or left over parts build.
