I know Q5 is a very new pistol, but still. i think these two are going head to head for range shooting. Which one would you pick and why? From my point of view, Glock could be more reliable, Glock is cheaper, Glock has cheaper upgrade and spare parts. Walther has a better trigger, Walther has a better grip and also looks much better. Shooting accuracy...don't know.

Finding a left handed holster for my Glock 41 (same holster as a 34) that fit a weapon-light nearly took an act of congress.

Finding that same holster for a PPQ would be a nightmare.

Spare Glock mags will be cheaper and easier to find.

I don't know about the PPQ finish durability, but it won't be any superior to the Glocks.

Glock replacement parts are cheap, and having a Glock serviced takes less time than a trip to Jiffy Lube.

The Glock has a lot of things going for it.

Sometimes, it seems Glock is the answer to everything ;)

From your earlier post, you seem quite taken with the Walther. If you are planning on keeping the gun stock, and just casual shooting, I would choose the one that fits your hand better, and pleases you.

If you are looking at doing a lot of upgrading, then the Glock beats everything, as far as OEM and aftermarket support. But I don't know what availability is like in your part of the world...

I'd go with the PPQ for sure. Best trigger on any polymer gun on the market. The 5" may be relatively new in the M2 version but the Q has been around for a long time now and is as reliable as any Glock. Better ergonomics by far and better grip angle.

Personally I would pick the Glock, BUT all my handguns do double duty as possible CCW guns and I personally find the PPQ trigger a bit light for my tastes as a CCW gun.

SO, for a range gun only, I would lean towards the PPQ for the sweet light trigger. Finding a holster or aftermarket parts will be a bigger pain for the Walther (most likely) but, again, for a range beast only. I like the PPQ.
