I have owned quite a few handguns. The only platform that I consistently have issues with is the 1911. At the same time they are the most fun to shoot. I have never had a failure of any kind with a Glock or Sig or S&W M&P. With that said the only 1911 I own is a Springfield Operator. It has been reliable.
