Hi guys,
hey, I just bought a 6 cavity lee bullet mold for my Browning HP 9 mm. The bullet is a 125 grain trunciated cone - tumble lube design. My question is, does anyone have some pet loads for for thier 9 mm using a cast 125 grain bullet?
I am trying to settle on a powder and I am looking for a nice feeling load, clean burning and accurate. I am planning on using most of them for IDPA but please share if you have a bowling pin load as well.
I would like to hear about your loads and experiances with them.
Many thanks.

Thank you

Thanks guys, I appreciate your time. My bullet mold arrived yesterday and today I broke it in and cranked out 400 bullets. They are lubed and ready to load. I can't wait to make some up and head to range to see the results.

Have fun out there, and thanks again.

I use AA#7 in mine, a light load of 6.4 grains works pretty good in my CZ PO1, at 1.095 OAL, but I am still experimenting. got some testers loaded over AA#5, and a slightly longer OAL. That's the Lee TL 345 124 2R, the round nose tumble lube design. Works well in both 9mm and 38 Special, as it drops at .360.

Phoinex,
Welcome to the forum...

I load 125gr Cast bullets for my son's 9mm and his favorite load is 4.0gr W231 with a COL of 1.125". It's a great practice round and cheap to build too.
