So after over-torquing a bolt on a Burris ring (Burris replaced the bolt free of charge) I've decided to finally invest in a torque wrench. I'm split between the two following very similar designs:
The Weaver Torque Wrench -

The Borka Torque Wrench -

They look very similar and that is because they are actually the same wrench, manufactured by the same Taiwanese company. The Weaver wrench from Optics Planet is $12 cheaper because I wouldn't have to pay shipping. I don't really need the extra accessories that come with the Borka Torque Wrench (got all the bits I need). So the make-or-break question is: can the bit holder on the Weaver be taken off to expose a 1/4" shaft, to which I can attach a standard socket? This can definitely be done on the Borka. This is very important as a lot of picatinny and weaver rings have 1/2" hex nuts for mounting.
Any help from anyone with experience with this wrench?
