I'm running into an issue with my 930SPX that's defying easy diagnosis. I've got over a thousand rounds thru the sucker. The gun's been great up until now and a real value, but now it's goofing up on me in a peculiar way:
Thanks.
- In any given range session, I can run 8-10 rounds through it without any issues whatsoever.
- After the first mag or so, it develops problems firing a shell: I'll pull the trigger but the pin never makes contact with the primer. A bolt rack and an ejected shell makes the next shell shoot, but the one after that (that's loaded by the action itself) won't fire, but it will when I rack the action by hand. The ejected unfired shell is free from any firing pin impressions.
- After 5-6 rounds of that happening, the gun fails to eject a fired shell and I have to work the action with ever-increasing force in order to get it to eject and load a shell, whereupon I get angry with the gun and go on to shoot something else i brought with me.
Thanks.
