HK P2000SK or a Sig P224. However, after handling both guns, I didn't like the ergonomics of either. So, I began to look around and see what other guns were available. I looked at the HK VP9, P30 LEM, and Walther PPQ M2. Each of thes guns fit my hand well, and are of comparable quality, but in the end the PPQ offered the best value IMO ($300+ less expensive than the P30 and $50 less than the VP9), and my LGS threw in one 17 round Walther mag to go with the two 15 rounders that came with the PPQ. The ergonomics and trigger on the PPQ are outstanding. Will try to get to the range tomorrow.

P2000SK & 224 huh?

The clear winner was a CZ 2075 RAMI ;)

Guys they didn't have one.

The Walther is a good gun though.
Enjoy.

Been there and done that, bought a RAMI several years ago. Got rid of iT within two months. The gun would not feed reliably. I tried four or five different brands of personal defense ammo and nothing worked. Traded the CZ on a Springfield XDM 3.8 problem solved.

Whatever floats your boat .. I like revolvers . Love to hear about the autos > plus and minus points I like a hammer just because I like them I hear about glocks are best and glocks suck . Bought the wife a walther p22 years back she loves it . and yes the fit in your hand, trigger and sights are real important Gun shopping my only shopping joy ... I do avoid buying a striker fired pistol .. but I am a believer they work

Congrats on the PPQ!!

I have one and just adore it. I have several SIGs , a Glock19, and HKs, including the VP9, and my PPQ is my favorite 9MM poly pistol and going to be my main CCW pistol awaiting my Illinois CCW permit to arrive. I love the way it feels and conceals on me in the Raven Concealment Phantom OWB holster I got for it.

I have one in .40S&W and really like it. Be careful with your trigger technique. The very short reset makes it easy to double or triple-tap without meaning to.

Congrats! Great guns. I'm going to have to get around to picking one of these up.

Congrats, one day I will buy a Walther. Shows that you can get good quality for a good price... HK and SIG are excellent guns, but sometimes you pay for the name.

Keep us posted, I know people love those PP pistols!!!
