I have a small stash of loaded ammo, just under 5000 rounds broken out between 11 calibers. Retail price on this ammo pre-panic is around $2,300.00. Components (bullets, powder, primers) plus brass/5 (getting at least 5 loads before needing to replace) plus $20/hr labor/300 (I can load 300 an hour minimum with my 550) plus caliber specific costs/10,000 (minimum life of dies.) My costs are just under $1500. So, the press and scale I purchased 15+ years ago are paid for with just what I have at the moment.
