I bought another carbine. I went and got a Hi Point 995 carbine 
. Yea good old Hi point, she is heavy but it works. And I do think I got a halfway decent deal.
I walked in to ASP this afternoon knowing they had a new one on the rack for 199. Figured I could do a hair bit of talking maybe get it for a little less. So I walk in and keep going past the 995 as I wanted to fondel an ar15 and maybe an fnfal just for the heck of it. Well on my way down the cases....i see another 995. This one with a red dot already on it....and for 179
. I ask for it...its in great shape, its basicly new. He said someone brought it in on trade in a few days ago. It didnt have the stock peep sights so they put a new BSA red dot on it. 35 dollar optics on it have the box right here. So I figure say 35 for the optics, 10 on tbi around 20 on taxes.....i got it pretty cheap . Gun has just a few rounds though it he says, maybe 100 or 200. I swear looking at the action between the two guns.....they look identical, new to partialy used.
So Im happy. Figure I can find a stock sight easy enough....then the sling if i really want it. Order me 4 more mags so i can load up a whole box of this winchester white box at a time.
This weekend at the range is going to be fun to say the least. Few .40's though my sw99....but a box or two though my Mosin-Nagant....and a few hundred though the 995 im giddy i swear
