CZ-52 was cool, but I was very inaccurate with it, it had terrible trigger slap and it's very tough to find any decent ammo besides mail order (although a local place sells repackaged Romanian as "New Generation", about 50% require double or triple strikes. Local shop gave me $99 for the CZ-52, exactly what I paid, so no worries, and I had put maybe 500 rounds of corrosive ammo through it (usually cleaned it though and it never showed any sign of rust). The Beretta was only $199 for the black, 6.5" barrel. So, $100 out of my pocket and it was mine.

I love this rimfire pistol. Grip feels natural, very much like my Steyr M9. Quickly put 80 rounds through it w/o any problem, and I didn't even clean it first. I need to go buy one of those cheap BSA 30mm red dot scopes from Walmart for $29.99. Trigger doesn't feel that bad on this one. I measured the trigger pull on another one at another store and it took 6 lbs to pull. We'll see how it goes.

If any of you are looking for a super reliable rimfire pistol (not a P22), check out the Beretta NEOS.

Didn't notice it being top heavy at all, feels like any full size polymer pistol that feels a little top heavy. I love the grip angle, it enhances natural pointing just like my Steyr pistol. It's because I've practiced so much with the Steyr that I like the NEOS grip so much, it's what I'm used to and what I shoot well.
