It's April 15th and we all know what that means...Buy a Gun Day!!

I just put one of these on pre-order. Shipping expected in May.

I just got one of these about a month ago, but thought that's outside of the "window" to claim as BAG Day

well mine is not really for bag day, and its not really a gun, but i did buy a new barrel for my contender today! its a sweet 16 in 30-30 and i cant wait to get it in my possesion!:D
 
What?!? I thought every day was "Buy a gun day", any gun will do for any day that ends with "day":):neener::)

Any day you buy a gun is a very good day:)
 
Well, I was broke on the 15th but today I have $250 to play with. That won't buy a lot but will buy me a milsurp. I'm hoping that a Gewerh 88 that I saw a week ago is still in the rack and that if it is the receiver is stamped with an "S". Of course, if I see a nice 98K, that will come home with me instead.
 
I was busy at a Tea Party. But the next day (yesterday) I finally bought a bayonet with scabbard (nice prewar one with beautiful blade) for my 6.5mm Arisaka.
 
Well, I was going to buy a 20 ga Mossberg pump gun, but got tired of waiting for the "instant background check" to come back. I'm always "delayed" (I have a very common name) but I finally got tired of waiting and said I'd check back with them today.

Absolutely nothing.

I've done it. Most recent I was in Colorado where it doesn't mean anything to have cwp as it does in Wyoming. The store closed before the approval came back. Then the gal called and said she had entered the wrong birthdate. Then she called and said she hadn't entered the correct place of birth.

By the middle of the next week I had bought a different gun in Wyoming where we don't have background checks if you have a permit.
 
didn't know there was buy a gun day. i was thinking a low end 9mm handgun. nice buy. there are two place around here that had that gun in stock.
