Whadja get for BAG Day?

Whew, I thought I missed it for a second. Probably will by the time I decide. I'm torn between a AR and a Hi Power. Any opinions? I have 2 1911s,
2 10/22s, one lever action a couple shotguns, a semi auto Remington in .308 and a Mini-14, but am missing a true Evil Black Rifle. Never mind I think I just decided.

If buying the upper you need to complete your AR project counts, I just came back from dropping the check off with Holland gunworks and the rifle i am building for my lovely wife (that in truth i'll probably be the one who shoots it more often) will hopefully "be complete" by this time next week.

if it don't count, then i'm SOL for getting anything for BAG day b/c the rest of the "fun fund" for this two week stretch is going to ammo and magazines for said rifle.

For me, April 8th was Buy A Gun day... and I can't truly justify buying another tomorrow... but dang if a Walther P99QA wouldn't make a fine bit of celebration!

I'm supposed to pick up 2 AR lowers (i'm in CA). Does that count? To be honest its been BAG month for me. Picked up 3 AR lowers, 2 Ak receivers, a PTR-91, an HK USP 9f, and am currently looking for a Bobcat BW-5

this is the first I've heard of this holiday, while I won't be able to go by another gun tomorrow, i should be able to go out and fire my new CMP SG M-1 for the first time. I guess that counts

I couldn't wait until BAG day. Within the last three weeks, I bought a Kel Tec P3AT for Mrs. Big_R and another Taurus 85 Ultra Lite for me. I also bought reloading dies for the .380 since somewhere along the way, I wound up with a few hundred once fired cases.

Still waiting on the 91/30, Savage Enfield and Yugo 59.
But technically those were bought last week so may not qualify as a BAG purchase and I wont be going to the gun show until the 16th
maybe I need to pick up one of Wally's under $200 rimfires tomorrow

I guess I'll force myself to get a .22 pistol. The only question is which one.

To all who have asked, yes you will get a party hat and goody bag for celebrating BAG Day even if you bought a couple weeks before or after April 15. I consider it sort of like opening a birthday present early...both sinful and fun.

I decided to reward myself this year and picked up another present in addition to the White Oak DCM AR15. This one is a beautiful 1903-manufactured Gustov Swedish M1896 Mauser. Former owner (WildAlaska) reports sub-1" groups with V4277 and SMK bullets. I'm going to try her out today.







OK I lied, I got this one about a month ago...maybe too early for BAG Day but I'm still proud. 1 of 1000 Kimber Target Match Limited Edition, 45 ACP.

Colt Trooper MK III

Just put a Colt Trooper MKIII in layaway as I don't believe in Credit Cards and I've wanted another 357 since I traded off my Dan Wasson with the interchangeable barrels a number of years ago. This one was made in 1963-64and only has some holster wear on the cylinder and barrel, but the lands and grooves are still sharp. Does This Count????

So I went out today and bought my G34 plus aftermarket sights.
Rovatec Bullite (laser training system).
4 gun range bag.
1000 rounds.

I have a feeling tomorrow at the range will be a good day.

Well I started celebrating BAG day when I got my refund. Got the wife a Ruger MK II, 22 standard model. She got me a Springfield XD-9. Then more in the spirit of BAG day, a couple of weeks ago, I got a Smith & Wesson Model 39-2.

Edited to add. I forgot. We picked up a Wally World 10/22 along the way also.
