Let’s see which one comes out on top.
Let’s not worry about capacity on this poll. We can do another if needed.
I didn’t list all brands, but I can add some more.
For myself, I like GI Aluminum. I have old military ones and new ones. I also like Magpul P mags and Lancer Systems.
Here are some that I have around the house.

I'll use whatever I have in the rubber-maid box that is full of them. What I have is all GI, HK, or magpul. I prefer magpul- light and reliable.

I have one Troy, feels nice. The others are Lancer. I do like the way the Hexmags look, but really any more new magazines will be twenty round steel. My Four fifty Bushmaster uses steel only, as it won't run without fiddling with them.

Magpul P-Mags, with a couple odd ones thanks to my son. One an unidentified 20 rounder he had to modify the outside to get to work, and an AR-Stoner 10 rounder i bought him for hunting.

Need to add C products. I don't really care for them in 223/5.56 but I bought some for my 6.8 because they were cheap plus free shipping, and they are flawless. I will buy more for the 6.8 if I ever see a similar deal. There's nothing "wrong" with them in 223/5.56 but they are clunky in the mag wells and feel cheap.

Those would fall under Aluminum GI Type.

The new ones are advertised as a matte stainless body, Gunny- with a steel base, stainless spring, and plastic follower. Their plant is right up the road and all the LGS promote them pretty heavily with factory flyers.

I've handled them, they seem OK- the bodies do appear to be steel, but so thin that they weigh no more than aluminum. Never shot one though, as I have a mountain of PMAGs. They only ones I keep loaded, though, are my 4 HD steel H&K 416 mags......and even then only loaded to 25 rounds.

I plan to get one of the Hera mags to go with their CQR stock set I ordered....just cuz they look all sci-fi and stuff!

Yeap, voted accordingly. I like the NHMTG straight 20rds so much I even converted a few of them to be 6 round 450 Bushmaster magazines. I have a bunch of other 30rd aluminum and Magpuls but unless I am shooting a 3-gun match I usually use straight 20rd aluminum for most everything else. Though I do use 10rd PMags in my 300 Blackout for hunting.

Gots the old gi’s, the new ones with the tan anti tilt followers, 10 round hex for spr, 10 and 30 round pmags with the windows (for the 30 rds) and I have a bunch of surefire mags somewhere in my bin.

Most of my mags are surplus G.I. with the 20 rounders made by Colt while the 30 rounders are mainly Adventure Line and Okay.

I like NHMTG straight 20s too but also use many P mag 30s. P mag 10s are my favorite for my heavy varmint rifle which I almost always shoot prone.

I have 10 Magpuls. All 30 round, but they present an IDA problem. I never load more than 10 rounds in a mag. I'da bought 10 or 15 round mags, or maybe 20 rounders, but the premium price to pay for same is terrible. PSA had 10 mags with 100 rounds of ammo on sale so I hadda' buy em.' 30 rounders hang down in an ugly fashon and won't fit my pockets.
They are made of some composite materials,,, maybe recycled coke bottles and kryptonite, but they fit the gun and spring weather will prove them to be functional. They will not rust like the mag furnished with the gun.

Most of mine are either D&H or GI with MagPul anti tilt followers. I just bought my very first MagPuls, the MOE ones, will be testing them soon for function.
Rifle is not an AR.
