SKS

Ruger MKII

Mosin Nagant

a 1911 of some sort

....no collection is complete unless you have a (call it whatever you like) "Bling-Bling", "Barbeque", or an "engraved Pimp Gun"

Rifles:
Enfield MK4
Ruger 10/22
AR15
M1A
Mauser

Hangun:
1911
Beretta 92
Ruger MKII
Glock Something

Shotgun:
Remington 870
Mossberg 500

A few 1911s. One LDA. A wheelgun, Glock, Thompson and a shotgun.

All of these are must-haves, because I felt that I must have them when I forked the cash over...

AR15 in the midde of September...

a 9mm Beretta -- either compact, full, or CX Storm...
A few Glocks
Throw in a Remy or two
A couple of good S&W revolvers and you're off to a good start. :)

Space for a couple of big safes. Oh, you were talking about guns. Well, you can specialize and go for particular guns and calibers like pre-64 Winchesters of every caliber or all the different makes of Colt Revolvers or like Tamara's collection of S&W revolvers. Or you can just buy anything that fits your fancy like I do which means you have a hodge podge collection of anything and everything.

Mine will be a relatively short list

First and foremost, a 1911
- 9mm auto for practice
- Revolver L or N frame magnum revolver
- J frame snub nose revolver
- 12 ga. shotgun
- Bolt action rifle
- Lever action rifle
- Maybe, an M1a or Garand
- 22 in both a pistol and rifle
- pellet gun

No offense guys/gals, because none is meant, but most here are talking about accumulation, not collection! There is a big difference. If I can bring myself to sell what I've accumulated, I may start collecting. Some of you know the difference. I BET!! :) I've been an accumulator for 37 years.

Marshall
...I could use [a Solothurn] mounted in the bed of my F250 4X4.

I have a picture hanging over my workbench of a HMMV that McDonnel-Douglas (now Boeing) on which they mounted the chin gun off an Apache helicopter. I'd post it but my meager photo skills, as well as the large file size are a problem tonight.

Now that's a Suburban Utility Vehicle!!

A shot gun of some sort. You don't have the basics unless you have at least one shotgun.

Here is the basic must have list:

1. Shotgun, pump action 12ga is the best all around choice.
2. Rifle, SKS seems to fit the bill.
3. Pistol, 9mm or .45acp 1911.
4. Revolver, .357 mag is a good palce to start.
5. .22lr pistol and rifle, Ruger MKII for the pistol and CZ-452 for the rifle.

With those guns, you are in decent shape for most things. If you have a special need, you can get a gun just for that but the above are guns that everyone could use.
