What are YOU compensating for?

Every once in a while, I like to read a 'fun' thread on here, one that is not entirely gun related, but still fun.

This time, it is funny answers to the question we hear all the time, "What are you compensating for?" or, "You must be compensating for something *snicker*..."

I'll start us off with two that I have used this month.

(Asked about what I am compensating for with my newly purchased sports car)
-I am compensating for my inability to run fast...
(Asked about what I am compensating for when shooting)
-I am compensating for my inability to throw pieces of lead really, REALLY Fast!

Actually, I'm trying my best to be environmentally responsible by purchasing platforms that will forcibly returning the minerals that were ruthlessly extracted from mother Earth by the immoral corporate rapers by shooting them into the ground.

I was told that I buy .45's and V8's to compensate for being under!!! She's long gone but at least my guns and V8 are still around.
