This isn't exactly gun related.
Anyway, IBTL and all that...
Check out
www.bfads.net for adscans and lists.
A couple of things:
- I haven't paid much attention to Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. etc. as the nearest locations are in St. George, a 45-minute drive down the freeway; I'd have to set out at 2AM to even have a chance at getting in on any of the deals worth driving that far for.
- It's evident why Walmart has been shooting cease and desist letters all over the place: their ad blows. Half the stuff can be purchased online currently for the Black Friday prices, and the remainder is a bunch of dull BS. I'm hoping their goons just leaked a fake ad on purpose, because the one we've got is pitiful.
Only things I'll be buying are a 400GB SATA hard drive or two from Staples ($60 after rebate) and a few things from Home Depot. Everything else is either too far to bother or just doesn't have my interest. I'd like to find a 17" or larger LCD monitor to replace the 15" Dell that blew out on my mom for not more than $100ish, and a decently-priced LCD TV for myself (no space in room, need a wall-mount) - but I don't want to spend more than $300 or so. I was hoping someone would have a 26-27" for that price, but the only deals have been on 42s for around 800 bucks. Over the last few years I've toned down my buying from "ohmygoditssofreakingcheapMUSTBUY" to "will I really ever use this, ever?" after accumulating a nice pile of useless crap (which mostly got trashed or sold off at a loss, even at BF prices) and blowing money that would have been better-spent on guns and ammo.
Kind of sucks. Past Black Fridays have been much better to me. This one seems to be a fizzle.
