Three

1 blackhawk three screw in .357

A custom 1871 rolling block pistol in .30 carbine

And a 16 ga mossberg pump

I like to hunt with old or odd things

What rifle are you taking deer hunting. I can't decide between my ruger 243, and my kimber 270 wsm.
My Ruger Guide Gun in .416 Ruger.
Lots of Black & Grizzly Bears, Lions and Wolves...in Flathead / Glacier area of MT.

7400 in 30-06 or AR 15, recovering from surgery, whatever I can handle, Son using my 7MM. 30-30 would come if I could sight it in. If I don't get a deer up North it will be 1187 with a rifled slug barrel.

Hey, OP, this is a cool thread! Thanks for starting it! Yeah, I'll play. If I go, I'll take one of the following:

Winchester M70 Stealth, chambered in .308 Win, with a Nightforce 3.5-15X56, using Hornady SuperFormance, 150 grain SSTs.

Winchester M70 Super Grade, chambered in .270 Win, with a Leupold Vari-X3, 3.5-10X40, using Hornady SuperFormance, 130 grain SSTs.

Weatherby Mark V, chambered in .300 Win Mag, with a Trijicon AccuPoint 2.5-10X56, using Hornady SuperFormance, 165 grain GMXs. (Last year, I had the Trijicon AccuPoint 1-4X24 mounted on this rifle.)

I've taken deer with all three, and in truth, they all drop the game to 300 yards with very little difference in performance across the three.

My marlin 336y in 30-30 cal I just bought it last year and have not used it yet and then I will use my mossberg 100 atr in 30-06 cal I love my 06 more than any gun I own though....but keep it quiet they get angry lol

Old faithful, my Winchester M70 Featherweight in 30-06, and this year my Ruger American in .243. Might take the .243 out opening day for a change up.

1st one will be a tc encore with a 23" MGM heavy factory barrel in 444 marlin with 265gr hornady flat points.
2nd is a ruger #1 in 270 win with 130gr nosler ballistic tips.

Two.
Mossberg 500 slug gun--24" rifled barrel with cantilever scope base and Leupold M8 4X.
Remington Model Seven--.308 set in an HS Precision sporter stock and dressed with a Leupold Vari-X II 2-7X; been my go-to rifle for years.

I had hoped to take a new Model Seven in .260. Got the gun, but it doesn't like the only factory loads I have (120 grain Federal Fusion), shooting them around 2.5" at 100. Not acceptable given that the .308 consistently shoots sub-MOA with 150 grain Remington Core-Lokts. I'm sure it will do better when I work up a load for it, but haven't the time to do so before this season.

M&P 10. with 168 grain Hornaday A Max shoots sub moa in it. If I am in woods I usually tote a Mossberg 464 30-30.

One of three, depending on the weather and mood.
Rain Browning 7mag stainless stalker, LH
Clear Browning LH Micro, 7mm-08
If I feel nostalgic, my 99E Savage in .308
