Already done did it. Took my custom LH Tikka in 6.5 X 55mm Swedish Mauser, 22" Lilja barrel, Zeiss 3.5-10X 44mm with the Zeiss #43 reticle in Talley lightweight rings. Got a nice heavy-bodied mulie buck this Sunday just past.
I'll take it for antelope and elk also. FWIW, speedgoats are not, repeat not range maggots. True range maggots are also referred to as "wooly boogers" and rarely as (ick) sheep. Not even in Wyoming, highest pronghorn population of any state, are they called range maggots. How do I know that? NCHS '65.
