What color are CCI 300 primers?

All the primers I've been using so far (CCI 300) have been orange inside. I bought some from a gun show and they're yellow inside. Just wanted to know if different lots were different colors.

Mine all appear to be orange inside. I haven't noticed any yellow ones but it could be some of them are.

Well I just loaded up 50 .44mags... 240gr HP, 10.5gr Unique...

Gonna go play with my new Red Hawk...

It's used and I haven't fired it, so first couple rounds will be factory and I'll probably start my reloads in my 92 lever just in case. I've run 10 grains before, just not sure on the primers.

I just bought another 1,000 and they're orange... I hope I'm not dealing with some gun show bait and switch...

I have a brand new box of CCI 300 primers. They are all orange primer compound. I check my CCI 550 primers and they are orange too...

Your guess is as good as mine. Load a few up and try them...

I have yellow ones.mine are 10yrs old.they may have changed colors.I wish they all would make pistol one color and the rest specific colors.

my federal primers are yellow, the primers shoulder is much rounder than my cci 300's so maybe compare the shape of a known cci to the "unknown"

I did get them to load up some 44 mag... So maybe...
