What condition is your CCW in when you carry?

S&W Snubbie 686-all cylinders stoked with .357 125s or SIG P-226 front pocket carry (after Summer's heat is gone), 1 in the breech and 15 in the magazine, hammer drop deployed and ready to go.

Isn't a 226 a little big for front pocket carry? It seems that a holstered 226 would be a little big for that.

Cocked and locked for 1911, or CZ-75
Hammer down on empty chamber, other five loaded for SAA
Fully loaded for Ruger SA w/ transfer bar, or DA revolver.
round in chamber for DAO autos, like kahr, kel tec, etc.

Sig; Chambered and decocked.
Glock; Chambered and cocked.

I don't carry anything with a saftey, because I am not used to them. I am affraid I would forget to take it off safe.

PT145 SA/DA eleven rounds of 185gr Barnes solid copper, ten in mag one up pipe and safety on. I carried 1911s for so many decades the old thumb wipe is second nature during a draw.

Revolver: Loaded, hammer forward, no safety to speak of.

SemiAuto: Full magazine, nothing in the chamber, dry-fired / uncocked (sleeping).

My Daewoo DH40 is carried with one in the chamber, cocked, hammer down, safety off (probably very confusing for those unfamiliar with the Daewoo "Triple Action" mechanism).

My old G19's in pretty shabby condition. There's no finish left on the slide, the frame has a bunch of nicks and gouges and as long as it isn't too grubby,I don't usually bother cleaning it before reholstering.
It always has a 124 gr Gold Dot chambered and ready to go though.

whatever im carrying,it has no external hammers,no decockers, consistant trigger pull, one in the chamber....still so many to choose from.

all my carry guns are in NRA good condition.
Ok I tried to let this thread go with a serious answer.

Safety always come first. The odds of an accident far outweigh the possibility of the necessity of actual use.
Why bother carrying a paperweight?

I carry my Walther with a round in the chamber, striker decocked so the first trigger pull is double action. All subsequent pulls are single action, and there is no external safety.
