I have a mess! Yesterday after our Thanksgiving dinner I put all of my late Wife's jewelry out on the table for the Granddaughters and DILs to look through. After they had what they wanted I had a pile of costume jewelry, odd ear rings, broke and odd stuff left over. All on my center island table!

I am working up loads for my 10mm MechTech carbine. I have put about 200rds. through it since purchased. I put a Romeo5 red dot on it. It is a very accurate carbine and a ton of fun to shoot.

…and sorting 38gr CPHP from 40gr CPRN 22LR cartridges… because someone didn’t look at the boxes which are the same size and shape and similar color when dumping them into a 30cal can.

about 3.5 hours each way, took a day off of work to go there- left at 8am, got there just before noon. Was home by 5pm.
Was ~ 8 months from when I submitted for a test date, on leaving, I submitted for another spot...better to be safe than sorry...maybe it's a new barrel on the Vudoo...or something by next summer

I have a new .38Spl load development project in the works. I bought a few 110gr jhp from RMR - a discontinued Winchester bullet designed for standard pressure loads in short barrels - and there’s zero loading data published. I have pretty good selection of the mid-range powders (except the VV N3xx series) and a good testing platform (T/C 10” .357 barrel) and something kinda like a chronograph (Chrony F) so I should be good to start doing research and projectile dissecting.
The goal is a 25yd varmint dissuader with low recoil, low flash, good penetration in flesh but a miss hitting a solid barrier will stop it easily. No ricochet! Velocity goal is 800-1000fps depending on barrel length and pie plate rapid fire, each hand, unsupported in a dark alley.

Basically, a SilverTip.

I washed the “brush and bullfrogs” out of this range cleanup last night. Now I have a heap of sorting waiting on me. I know there is 6.5 creed, 308, 22-250, 30-06, 25-06, 270, 300 win mag and gadzoooks of 223/5.56 in there. Also 25 auto,32 auto, 45 colt, 38 special/357mag, think I saw a 41 mag in their… and an additional gadzoooks of 9mm. Last time I cleaned up this range, there was a bunch of 380… the brass sorters nightmare. Haha
But I woke up in the middle of the night tossing my groceries…. And I’m sitting by the fireplace with my coat on and teeth chattering… ugh… the brass is gonna wait

If you don't have any load data, throw 6.5-7.0 grains of Silhouette and go for it.

Dasher cases are in the cold shop, waiting to be deburred and chamfered........probably won't fool with them until the weekend.
When I finish that batch I have a few from the other rifle to do, they are annealed and sized so far. I might trim them one evening this week.
