What do have waiting for you in the reloading room?

Update on this trickler.. it was super squeaky out of the box and the tube had lots of fore and aft movement. I took it apart and added a tiny bit of moly to the bearing surfaces, and gave it 500+ hand turns. Took it apart and cleaned it up. Now it feels like ball bearings. Barely put a finger on it for a spin and get one kernel at a time if you want. It’s very heavy and doesn’t move. I highly recommend it. But does need a tune up out of the box 👍
NOW you’re a handloader. 🤣👍

I have 50 pieces of Federal 30-06 currently in the swimming pool. When I get home they will be dried and annealed.
I have 80 pieces of 338 Lapua primed and waiting to be loaded.
I have 2,000 9mm bullets waiting to be powder coated

I have 730 powder coated .452” 230gr RN/FB bullets waiting on load development.

So here's the question: What have y'all got waiting for your attention in the reloading room
I have 100 .45 ACP cases all primed and belled waiting on powder charge and bullet seating. One day next week or over the weekend I'll get them finished. Then I have a pile of .38 SPL and .357 Mag to work on. Now with warmer weather on the horizon time to get into some rifle loads.

UGH...
My bench is a disaster!
I'm getting ready for a move and I've put all reloading on hold until I'm settled in the new place.
Trying to get all of this stuff packed is crazy, but it gives me an opportunity to inventory everything and see where I'm at in the big picture.

I bit the bullet so to speak and shelled out a C note for 1000 federal large pistol primers at cabelas. I was going to get just 200 but said “what the H.. just get em”. Also got some XTP 158’s for these 357 magnums Sir charles98 and I are working on. If you wanna play.. you gotta pay

I have about 50 pieces of 30 HRT brass waiting to be loaded in the morning. And a bunch of range brass that needs sorting and processing. Got my boys and a couple friends coming up in a month or so,for a bachelor party weekend on the lake and at the range, and I’m supplying the ammo and most of the guns. I’ll need to load a thousand or so 9mm and a bunch of 223 and others.

That happens when the arms/levers are not adj right. Remember to adj it with the arms horizontal. Now if your using a PTX the die has to be adj up/down to get the expander setting. I do not use the PTX stop. I set it and never touch it again. This way I can change powder die bases to different PTX setup and no adj is necessary.

Just got in some supplies (projectiles) from Midway, and have some 357 die’s coming from RCBS.

On this week’s load to do list.(min cartridges loaded)
30-30 : 50 ea.
300 WM : 100 ea.
25-35 WFC : 50 ea.
45 ACP : 200 ea.
300 BLKOUT: 200 ea.

The key is how many will I actually have time to do🤔. E17A6205-FE78-4D0D-B6F6-2EFF5C95D68E.jpeg

Ahhhhhhhhhhh! That hurts.

Haven't reloading anything since last fall at least. Long story, mostly the realization I can buy cheap ammo in bulk.
However, I do have to reload - including forming the cases - for my 6.5x53.5mmR Dutch rifle and carbine as the ammo hasn't been made since WW2. Ballistically it's about the same as 6.5x54mm Mannlicher-Schoenauer, so it's handy.
I cannot buy the downloaded .45 AR for my modified (it was cheap) WW1 Webley revolver.
And I have a .45-70 rifle built on a 1903 Springfield action. So it isn't restricted to trap door pressure levels. (But I may hold it down in honor of my shoulder being old.)

That doesn't mention the cleaning arranging (organizing) I need to do.

Maybe when it's warmer...

Reloading “room” is kind of a loose term around here. My replacement front sight for the GW-II came in this morning so I have to find time to install it. In the meantime, I’ll be restuffing what it emptied. I’m out of the 158gr JHP Speers but I got some 125gr JHP SuperVels and W296…🙄😳👍

I need to find a purpose for this 06 Lake City brass.
It was for my M1 A National Match.
I put exactly 772 rounds through that rifle before Canada put them on the prohibited list.

That was my favorite rifle.

I had that rifle less than a month when I shot this target.

It may not look like much but I still remember every shot 11 years later.
We just finished the 600M final portion of a competition.
You and your partner have 25 minutes to each take 2 sighters and 10 shots. We ploughed through everything in about 15 minutes leaving 10 minutes for me to bring my M1A National Match up to the mound to try it out.
The rifle had its stock NM hooded peep sights
I had never shot it past 200M at this point.
I dialed elevation and I added 1MOA of left windage.
I fired the first shot and I was off target to the right a little. My spotter called 2 moa of left windage with perfect elevation.
The way it works is that there are people in the rifle butts pulling down the target board after every shot and placing a marker in the last hole before putting it up.
The first shot that hit was the upper left scoring a 4.
I held slightly right and scored the 5 top center.
My spotter called for a 1/2moa elevation adjustment so I turned the hooded peep sight for the 1/2 MOA adjustment and the following shot was the V-Bull in the center. The next 2 shots were the lower 2 left.
I have the load imprinted in my brain.
42.8gr of IMR 4064 in 06 LC brass with a CCI#34 NATO primer and a 168gr SMK.
