What do have waiting for you in the reloading room?

Wonder if you can use your grill to heat up the brass so it would dry the inside of the brass? humm??

My Wife made me a pillow case like bag from an old but still fluffy towel that I put the brass in right out of the tumbler. A good shake rattle and roll gets them pretty dry. Then I stand them up on a board with finishing nails in it and then they get put out in the hot Arkansas Sun!

Some more of those T&B .32 Cal 64 Gr SWCs. They passed the function test, so now I need to load some more and do some accuracy testing.

I've been testing the .303 British ammo with a Hornady 174gr JRN bullet and BL(C)2. They seem to be working well but I haven't sent any over the chrono yet or did much accuracy testing. The initial load was made with 45.0gr but I'm now going to test different charges from 43.0gr to 46.5gr which is what Hodgdon shows. I can't find that cartridge/powder combination anywhere else. I'm only trying it because I have a pound with nothing else to use it in lol.

I've used the 174g Hornadys for .303 and they do ok, but my best results have been with 174g SMK (.311 bullet). I now use the Hornadys for 7.7 Japanese and they work great.

In my reloading room, a never shot since the, War Type 99 is waiting!!! .311 bullets, I have the Dies, Norma brass, Rifle… This project, I’m taking my time on!

For no malfunctions due to possible oversized rounds during pistol games. I also gauge all of my sized 9MM brass, but not the loaded rounds.
Funny but I gauge post-sizing and post seat/crimp. Especially 9mm Makarov since I'm using cut-down 9mm Luger brass and .380ACP because I run close to top of the load chart. I use a lot of mixed brass in 9mm Luger so gauging resized is kind of a good idea. Gauging finished rounds is probably not necessary but I do it anyway. Kinda one of those why not situations.

I didn’t know people gauge brass! after resizing I presume?

My wording may have been misleading....I pass 'em thru the gage to see if they are bulged, then thru the buster if needed.....
Look thru the Lee APP posts. A lot of folks bought one just so they could bulge bust all of their pickup brass. Gauging is an extra step if you do that. I think both methods work fine. Bust them all or gauge them all, then toss the bulge bellies.

I have 100 38 special cases re-sized , belled and primed ...
Just need to make up my mind ... which cast bullet to use and what powder charge .

I have a bunch of cast Lyman #358432 - 160 gr, wadcutters , sized .358 and lubed ...
Those would do nicely .

Was thinking about a charge of 3.1 grs. 700X for a velocity of about 700 to 725 fps ...
Should be just about right for plinking , tin cans and targets at the indoor range !
