If you can 'test drive' a CZ-83, do it prior to purchase
If you know where you can get a CZ-83 to 'TEST-DRIVE', do it prior to a purchase. I tried a Walther PPL/PPK ?? whatever the .380 is, & was not impressed w/ it.
(Note; I own a Walther P22, and enjoy shooting it)
A good friend of mine at the Gun Shoppe, suggested I try the CZ-83.
Needless to say, "I WAS IMPRESSED' 
All of the releases, (slide, mag, and saftey), were all right there at your thumb. Well thought out, good design concept. The good Lord willing, I will own a CZ-83 before this year is complete.
