What do you want for Christmas?

Wish I had known that. A friend of mine just sold a pre-64 in immaculate condition for $800 a few weeks ago. I would have bought it in a second, but I’d just bought my M70 in 338WM. It was a gorgeous rifle.
I appreciate it, but I can't even afford to pay attention...

I don’t think I really want anything for Christmas. I just want to spend time with my family and I want my brother and his other officers to be ok. They had an officer executed inside his patrol car, outside the Fayetteville PD last week. It was on my brothers shift and he was their supervisor. He’s taking it hard.

We all have “things” we’d like to have. But in the blink of an eye they can be made to be so trivial.

So my wish is everyone here has a happy, safe, and joyous Christmas with friends and family. And always remember to cherish the ones we love.

I am pretty content, really, and thankful for that with which I have been shamefully blessed. I would love for Santa to bring me a Tomcat 3032 but that is not going to happen. Maybe next year. I have pushed the envelope on guns for awhile.

What I really, really want is to be driving in my car on a cold winter's night, headed to pick up my best friend, Caroline and have Alabama sing Christmas In DIxie to me.

Well said, Sir.

My grandson is a deputy sheriff in Hoke County, NC. He is on my mind constantly.. I live with that every day. My daughter is a single mom and I was his father image. I taught him to ride a bike, fish and to shoot. In so many ways, he is almost my kid.

What did you wish for Christmas.
I'd like a chronograph, ive been to long without one.
Maybe a new reloading press, my little lee has about had it.
And a red Ryder bb gun,

Merry Christmas. Troy.

Merry Christmas to you, too, Troy. I hope you get the chronograph and I wouldn't mind having a Red Ryder, myself.

To keep it gun related anyone get a gun for xmas and have it hidden in the corner like the Christmas story. My dad did it to me one time with a nos Rossi 62 pump 22. Still have it, with it was still new in the box. I shot that thing countless times. Used it for a lot of small game to. One day I will clean it up, thing shoots better then most target 22s I've had.

Non-gun: better belt, a belt sheath for a folding knife, a belt sheath for a little mini-blade I have.

Gun: gift card for ammo, maybe a certain revolver i have my eye on.

I believe one of the big bike makers had a program where they donated bikes to kids.
Troy, thanks and that is one of the things he wants to look into and bring up to the church. Also starting a facebook etc. for collecting donations. He just got back from National Guard Training as a Medic and starting college so his plate his full. But he has that fire in him to go back to Bolivia and continue to help. For lack of a Better phrase. For him, the trip and experience was a Game changer in his life. Thanks for the post.
