IMO a gun snob is not one that simply prefers more expensive firearms, a true gun snob is one that literally looks down on other people that do not possess the financial means to own these expensive firearms. They have the air about them that if you don't shoot really expensive firearms, you are beneath them.
I am always looking for what I think are high value firearms. A high value firearm is usually one that is moderately priced but delivers really good quality, excellent reliability, and are of a fair price. I know fair price is completely subjective. I like Ruger and Glock, but I do own a few EAA firearms as I believe they deliver the goods.
