Glocks. I bought the G21 and I like it. I bought the G17 and am Ho Hum about it. The CZ 75b outclasses it by a mile. The Taurus TX22 beats out the G44 easily. I understand Glock fans can't wait for new models, but other firearms interest me more. I think Glock has peaked in design and other self defense guns such as the Springfield Arms Hellcat are more innovative.

Seemed pretty clear to me. Not everyone is in to the same things.

Thanks. Maggie is my (obviously) stainless 6.5" 357 Blackhawk. I've tossed around the idea of getting some aftermarket grip panels, but the factory wood is awful nice. :)

I'm not really interested in .41 Magnum either, and I don't want to get into it (because that means more guns and more ammo! Please, my wallet can't take it anymore! Well, okay, if you gave me a vintage model 58, I might make an exception). Same with .40 S&W or .357 SIG. Nothing against these calibers, they just aren't my thing. Not interested in 10mm wheelguns. I like 10mm in autos, just not interested in a 10mm revolver (this is odd because I'm okay with .45 ACP revolvers. Go figure). Same with 9mm revolvers (although, if I found one of those old S&W k-frame 9mm revolvers, I'd be sorely tempted). I'm also not interested in the huge super magnums, like the .500, .460, etc., or rifle caliber handguns (like the .45-70 revolvers or specialty single-shots) I guess I don't like arthritis.

    Keeping this about revolvers...

    Not interested in:

    - black powder guns
    - any magnum caliber beginning with a .4 or .5
    - anything with a barrel over 5”
    - anything less expensive than a Ruger or more expensive than a S&W
    - anything made by Colt after 1980

I’m not much of a revolver guy, honestly.

ETA: of course, should Glock make a revolver...that may be a different story...

Have you even tried it?:D If you have, I'm guessing you're thinking that hard recoiling "super magnum" handguns might cause your arthritis to act up. Well, I can tell you for sure that "Ruger Only" loads in my 45 Colt Ruger Blackhawk don't bother the arthritis in my 72 year-old right ankle one bit. The tendonitis in my just as old right elbow however...;)

Should Glock make a revolver i'd be on the list of potential buyers. I'm a budding revolver nut.

My opinion? Absolutely useless. If I want a rifle, I'll carry one. If I want a pistol, I'll carry one. Some oddball hybrid doesn't interest me in the slightest. Now, if you put a stock on it and SBR it, you've got my undivided attention.

 If this corona crap ever settles down and things get back to normal that's one thing I'd like to do. Maybe in something a tad bigger than the usual 357 or 44 mag/spls though.
Maybe there is a place for a 480 Ruger or 500 JRH in there somewhere if a proper enough action exists.

Oh come on now, you know they exist. I think Henry may be making those just as a tease because they knew what people would do, wether or not they file the paperwork is another story.

What is really cool about this thread is it shows people can have a civilized conversation about revolver or gun likes and dislikes with very little rock throwing and name calling...there is hope for the human race after all. :D

Thank goodness there are more flavors than chocolate and vanilla.

Never been interested in Colt Revolvers.

Have never seen the need for a .44 magnum (or .44 Special, or .41 magnum) since I have 45 Colt, and the revolvers, both SA and DA, that shoot "Ruger only" loads.

I'd just be happy with a 22WMR, but a version in 454 would be quite the thumper. I suppose one might be made out of an 1892 action, but I don't know if it'd hold up to that large a cartridge. Maybe one of the Marlin actions?

That's ok, you don't have to... you can say "Trapper Carbine". It makes it sound more... authentic.
